Our History

Established in 2024, the Indo-American Society of Geoscientists evolved from the North American Chapter of Society of Petroleum Geophysicists, India. This transformation reflects our expanded mission and broader scope in the geosciences field.

Our society was founded with the vision of creating a platform where geoscientists from diverse backgrounds could collaborate, share knowledge, and advance the field through innovative research and professional development opportunities.

Today, we continue to build on this foundation by organizing webinars, conferences, and research initiatives that address the most pressing challenges in geosciences, particularly in the areas of carbon storage and geophysical exploration.
